Cookie policy

Which cookies and browser storage the site uses, which need your permission, and how to change your mind.

Last updated: 2026-10-08. This policy covers cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage and IndexedDB), as required by art. 22.2 of Spain's LSSI-CE. Who we are and how we handle personal data is explained in the privacy policy.

TempMV sets no cookies of its own — not even for signing in, which uses local storage instead. The only cookies come from Microsoft Clarity and Google AdSense, and only after you accept them. What the site does use is browser storage on your device, which never travels with a request on its own. The items below are needed for features you ask for, so they are exempt from consent.

Strictly necessary

KeyTypePurpose and duration
tempmv.auth.v1, tempmv.auth.v1-code-verifierLocal storageYour sign-in session (only with an account). Removed when you sign out.

tempmv.siteConfig.v1, tempmv.broadcasts.seenLocal storageA cached copy of the site's settings, and which announcements you have already seen.
tempmv.movi.guest.v1Local storageYour Movi guest conversation and its random id (signed out only). Until you clear it or sign in.
tempmv.session, tempmv.groupLinks.v1, tempmv.api.tryTokenSession storageStart-of-visit flag, links between running machines and group machines, and an API token you pasted into the docs. Deleted when you close the tab.

Preferences and your own content

These keep the things you create or choose in the app. They stay on your device until you clear them (if you have an account, some of them are also synced, as the privacy policy explains).

Microsoft Clarity sets first- and third-party cookies (such as _clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID) to recognise a returning browser and stitch a visit's pages together for heatmaps and session replays. They last from one day up to about a year, as set by Microsoft. They are not strictly necessary: Clarity is only loaded after you accept.

Google AdSense sets third-party cookies (such as __gads, __gpi and, on Google's own domains, cookies like IDE) to select ads, limit how often you see the same one, and measure performance, for periods set by Google of up to about 13 months. These are not strictly necessary, so nothing is loaded until you accept. If you decline, the AdSense script is never requested and no advertising cookie is set. Ads only ever appear on reading pages; the app screens carry no advertising at all.

Analytics and advertising are accepted or rejected together, with one choice. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the banner only appears on the reading pages.

Other requests that are not cookies

The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, and some disk images come from third-party mirrors. These requests set no cookies of ours, but they reveal your IP address to the provider, as the privacy policy explains. Persistent disks are read and saved through our own disk server with your session token in each request; no cookie is involved.

Changing your mind

Use the buttons below to withdraw your consent or to be asked again; the same controls are in Settings → Privacy. After withdrawing, Clarity is told to stop and no new ads are requested; reload the page to unload scripts that were already running, and delete existing cookies in your browser settings if you want them gone at once. Clearing this site's data in your browser resets everything, including your preferences and anything stored only on this device.
